Hub e Masterplan Conca d’Oro – Torbole sul Garda

Torbole sul Garda, Italy

For the enhancement of the Conca D’Oro area in the municipality of Nago Torbole (Trento), the proposal is to redevelop the area by introducing a new architectural structure. The context is predominantly natural. The building fits into the landscape, adapting to its morphology, forming a line on the horizon that declares its presence through a few elements that mark the horizontality of the new HUB. The floor plan composition has been designed to allow for an immediate organization and orientation between the different areas required by the brief.

With the exception of the storage area, located in a separate building, the remaining main areas are distributed around a courtyard, with the connective system facing it. This system functions as a hinge, creating moments of meeting and exchange between the users of the spaces.

Additionally, the building’s volume defines a sequence of external spaces, linked together to form a rich variety of environments and moments. The enhancement of the outdoor area includes a new paving design and a new plan for natural elements, such as the planting of new trees, which, together with the building’s form, will emphasize the character of one area in relation to another.
